NEA Task 16 : Masthead Design


 



The final masthead on display here shows the fonts which will be used going forward. The third masthead is the most appealing and on brand for the magazine I am looking to produce. The way the slogan derails in the middle and interconnects with the logo/ title is very appealing to me and is the main reason for me deciding with this font but also the mechanical font displaying 'OffTheReels' also gives off the right impression I am looking for and it is overall, the best font.

  What is a mass market audience? A mass market is a large group of current and potentially prospective customers , where individual members share similar needs What is an independent cinema? An independent cinema is a cinema not attached to big cinema chain therefore, their focus is pon presenting films not mainstream and are often daring and experimental o the film industry. What is OnScreen magazine? OnScreen magazine claims itselft to be 'The magazine for Independent cinemas'. The magazine is produced bi-monthly with information inside including everything you need to know about new movies arriving in cinemas.   Set Brief : Magazines and Online Requirements of the brief You work for an independent media production company.  You have been given the task of producing  the front cover and contents page(s) of the first two editions of a new film magazine that is  being launched by  Bauer  and two pages for the working website for the magazine.
